E-Commerce and Online Ordering Software
Click and collect, online payments, subscriptions and the systems behind them, built for how your business sells.
When an off the shelf shop isn't enough
Standard online shop platforms suit a lot of businesses. But if you sell in a way they don't handle well, such as orders collected at set times, products that change daily, subscriptions or billing based on usage, you end up working around them.
We build ordering and payment systems around the way you sell, and connect them to the rest of your business so orders, payments and stock don't have to be copied from one place to another.
E-commerce and ordering work we've done
For a food retailer, we built a click and collect ordering platform. Customers order online and pick a collection time, and the shop sees orders as they come in. The platform helped raise the average order value.
For Cork Office Machines and Supplies, we built a web app that reads usage reports from their printers, tracks toner and consumables, and works out each customer's monthly bill automatically.
Our own products take payments through Stripe. SmartChef customers sign up and pay monthly online, and LeadLog offers a monthly subscription that users can pause between trade shows, so nobody has to send an invoice.

Do you build click and collect ordering systems?
Yes. We built a click and collect ordering platform for a food retailer, where customers order online, choose a collection time and pay, and the shop sees orders as they arrive. It helped raise their average order value.
Should I use Shopify or a custom system?
If a standard platform does what you need, it's usually the cheaper choice and we'll tell you so. A custom system makes sense when you sell in a way the platform handles badly, or when ordering needs to connect closely to the rest of your business.
Can you take payments online with Stripe?
Yes. We use Stripe for card payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored in your system.
Can you set up subscriptions?
Yes. Our own products SmartChef and LeadLog take payments through Stripe, with customers signing up and paying online without anyone having to send an invoice.
Can you automate billing based on usage?
Yes. For Cork Office Machines and Supplies, each customer's monthly bill is worked out automatically from the usage reports their printers send, which automated over 90% of the billing work.
Can online orders connect to our stock and accounts?
Usually, yes. We can pass orders and payments to your stock system and accounts package, so they don't have to be copied across by hand.
How much does an online ordering system cost?
A first version usually costs €3,000 to €8,000, a mid-sized system €8,000 to €12,000, and larger builds start at €15,000. Stripe charges its own transaction fees.
How long does it take to build?
A first version usually takes 4 to 8 weeks, and the system can then grow in stages as you see how customers use it.
Does your online shop fit the way you sell?
Tell us how your customers order and pay, and where it gets awkward, and we'll tell you what a custom system would take.
